Donations needed for West Point families displaced by fire

I’ve been told a donation box has been set up in front of the West Point PX, accepting supplies for the four families displaced by yesterday’s fire
at a faculty housing complex on the U.S. Military Academy’s campus. (No one was hurt.)
Among other things, the families need toiletries, cleaning supplies, diapers, baby wipes, gift cards and calling cards. The items can be purchased at the PX and will be given to the Red Cross to distribute.
The American Red Cross of Greater New York at West Point can be reached at 845-938-4100. The PX is next to the Commissary on Stony Lonesome Road, phone number 845-446-5405.
