PX ban on girlie mags?

In an apparent attempt to legislatively foist his morality on the armed forces, U.S. Rep. Paul Broun, R-Ga., a Marine Corps veteran, has introduced a law that would ban certain men’s magazines from being sold at post and base exchanges, according to a military.com report.
The story notes that GIs interviewed are against the ban plan and say that taking away their Playboy mags would hurt morale.
No surprise there.

Seriously, I understand that many people feel that Porn is a bad thing..but lets face it, I would rather have a soldier (or anyone for that matter) viewing porn than out there sleeping around and spreading disease. Leave these guys alone and let them have their mags and such. Before someone decides to get their undies in a bunch, yes I am married (to a soldier no less) and yes my husband looks at porn and No, I don't think it makes them a bad person. I'd rather my husband look at porn and "take care of it himself" than seek other means to satisfy himself when I can not be around.
